Susan-Kate is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (BFA in Drama) and a recent transplant to Los Angeles. She came out here with her acclaimed one woman show Mop-oholic (the PIT, UCB, iO West) which has been called "one-of-a kind", "hilarious" and "wonderfully unique" and received recognition as one of the top ten shows and performances of the year (Review Fix). The show and new web series TOP MOP are the true comedic story of Susan-Kate's lifelong best friends... her mop collection. TOP MOP is written and produced by and stars Susan-Kate.
Other recent acting credits: Nurse Mackenzie on The Mindy Project (HULU), starring opposite Bryce Dallas Howard as her eager BFF Linda in new comedy Pant Suits, Shirley in Masters of Sex (Showtime), Nurse Dublin in The Inherited (starring Annabella Sciorra and Nathan Darrow) and sold-out performances of new solo show Facebook with Mom at the Fringe, Second City, and the PIT in NYC.
Susan-Kate performs stand-up (Flappers, The Comedy Store) and in various storytelling shows. She also works regularly in commercials and voice-over. She most recently recorded the audiobook for Mean Girls (Scholastic).
She works frequently as a writer and producer. A short she co-wrote (and starred in) The Openers, which examines women in stand-up and doing it for ourselves, won Best Film at the 2016 Broad Humor Comedy Film Festival. Together with Phil Mutz she is the co-writer of Gay Camp, which has received Fringe awards and extensions and now performs around the country. With Jenn Liu she has co-created One-Ups, a comedy webseries about competitive female friendships. They are currently pitching a pilot and have just completed a feature.
